Charamba ( Portuguese )

Description

It is vinified by the "classic" method for red wines. It is aged in Portuguese oak barrels for 6 to 9 months.

Taste: It is an exclusive, pleasant, delicate, fruity and full-bodied wine with a persistent aroma and an attractive garnet colour. Intense and complex, further ageing in the bottle will help this superb, typical Douro wine to evolve even more.

 

Food Pairings

Charamba is a perfect pairing with game, lamb, cheese plate and nuts.

Description

A delicious blend of White Zinfandel wine and juicy ripe red strawberries. This is a perfect beverage for get-togethers, festive celebrations or just relaxing at home. Refreshing and light.

Cranberry Twist White Merlot

Description

A refreshing blend of perfectly ripe cranberries and kiwi's. Excellent to start an evening off with friends, great for sharing. Crisp fun and light.

Description

Since 1973, Wolf Blass wines have amassed more than 3000 medals and trophies at national and international wine shows.

2002 saw the Wolf Blass Winery voted as the winner of the Robert Mondavi Winemaker of the Year Trophy and for the second year in a row, The Schenker Australian Wine Producer of the Year.

The 2002 Wolf Blass Red Label has a youthful deep red colour with an attractive bouquet of red berry fruits, peppery spice and mint. On the medium bodied palate this wine has juicy sweet fruit flavours with a balanced oak character, soft mouthfeel and a lingering finish.

Suitable for all occasions. Try the Wolf Blass Red Label with a range of pasta and red meat dishes.

Description

A violet red wine with some ruby hues. Aromas dominated by red fruits, vanilla and fine herbs. On the palate it has a balanced medium body which expresses its sweetness, rounded tannins and fruity flavour.

Sauvignon Blanc

Description

A clean and crisp white wine that's crowd pleasing.  Lively and fresh with a smooth, very refreshing structure.  Long lived aromas of tropical fruits and citrus.

Colour: Crystalline with some yellow-green hints.

Nose: Fresh fruit notes dominated by pineapple. Intense aromas of grapefruit and lemon indicate great vivacity.

Tasting: The mouth is lively and ample, and the notes of exotic fruits as the length develops impart a great sensation of freshness.

This Sauvignon Blanc is suitable for an enjoyable, relaxed occasion among friends. 

Serve slightly chilled.

Particularly suitable as an aperitif, and with grilled or foiled steamed fish and shellfish.

White Merlot

Description

Mediterranean brightness bounces out of Fortant de France’s White Merlot, a refreshing low-key rose.  This salmon-pink wine - spicy, delicate, with subtle fruit-salad flavors.  Unlike sweetish white zinfandels, Fortant’s white merlot, from the Midi, is bone dry and resembles graceful roses from Travel, in the southern Rhone. 

Drink the wine chilled.

Description

A medium bodied red wine where summer fruit flavors are mixed with hints of vanilla.  There's impressive heft to this affordable cabernet, the tannins and the ripe jammy fruit substantial enough for duck.

Colour:     Purple with striking mulberry highlights.

Nose:       Blackcurrant, red & green capsicum characteristic of the Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting:    The balance in the mouth allies power and roundness. Red summer-fruit flavours are mixed with hints of vanilla, highlighting the impression of freshness, before a noticeable long finish.

Description

Classic dry white wine with crunchy green apple freshness. Yes Pinot Gris is the same as Pinot Grigio.

This wine is an ideal partner for light chicken dishes, seafood, vegetables, fresh cheeses, and appetizers. Imagine a light lunch with friends consisting of a shitake mushroom and havarti cheese quiche with a mixed green salad drizzled with a light vinaigrette dressing and a glass of our Pinot Gris chilled to perfection.

Description

You'll find very ripe, plummy-sweet flavours and richness in this wine. There is also a rustic character. The French would call it a bistro, elbows on the table wine.

Food Pairings

This Cabernet Franc is best served with pasta or red sauce, barbecued foods, roast beef or lamb.

Nose:      Powerful and refined, with intense aromas of pears, figs, pineapple and roasted hazelnuts, rounded-off with discreet notes of honey.
